Aaron George

Director

Aaron George is a Commonwealth Cambridge Scholar, holds a Masters in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering Trivandrum. He specialised in Entrepreneurial Science and Innovation Policy. Aaron helps research organisations and universities to improve their economic contribution to society and assists small and medium-sized enterprises in developing open innovation strategies. Aaron is a co-founder of the International Centre for Technological Innovations and has served as Director since 2012. He has also helped in the creation of technology spin-off companies and producer organisations.

Prior to joining the International Centre for Technological Innovations, he worked for The Royal Bank of Scotland in London. He has served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and Imperial Innovations India (Imperial College London). He was nominated by Ernst & Young and selected for UK Trade and Investment – UK Govt.’s Global Partnership Programme among 100 Indian innovators with strong technology development potential. He is the recipient of several awards and research grants from governments and organisations in India and abroad. His works are profiled in The Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal (Mint), Economic Times, Khaleej Times, et al.
