Akshay Krishnan, a Research Associate and student in the PgCert Research programme at International Centre for Technological Innovations (ICTI), has been awarded the prestigious Duke Nicholas School Scholarship. This highly competitive scholarship will enable him to pursue a Master of Environmental Management at the renowned Duke University, in the United States.

Valued at Rs. 6 million, the Duke Nicholas School Scholarship comprehensively covers all expenses related to Akshay's education. This includes course fees, research costs, and living expenses for the 24-month duration of the Master's programme, supported by The Friends of the Earth Scholarship Fund, The Yasuomi Tanaka Memorial Fellowship, Professional Student Merit Scholarship, and a Need-based Grant offered by Duke University.
