Dr. Gopika Thekkiniedath Haridas, a Research Associate and student in the PgCert Research programme at International Centre for Technological Innovations (ICTI), has been awarded the prestigious British Council Scholarship for Women in STEM. This highly competitive scholarship will enable her to pursue an MSc in Global Public Health at the renowned Newcastle University, in the United Kingdom.

Valued at approximately Rs. 41 lakhs, the British Council Scholarship for Women in STEM comprehensively covers all expenses related to Dr. Gopika's education. This includes full tuition fees, to-and-fro travel, visa expenses, and a monthly stipend for living expenses throughout the 12-month duration of the master's programme, ensuring she can focus entirely on her studies without financial concerns.
