ICTI Research Associate – Lakshmi R, obtains European Erasmus Mundus Scholarship 2022-24

Lakshmi Rajeev Kumar, a Research Associate and student in the PgCert Research programme at International Centre for Technological Innovations (ICTI), has been awarded the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Scholarship. This highly competitive scholarship will enable her to pursue an MSc in Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation for Environmental Modelling and Management (GEM) offered by an international consortium of the University of Tartu, Estonia, UCLouvain University, Belgium, Lund University, Sweden, and the University of Twente, the Netherlands.

Valued at approximately Rs. 42 lakhs, the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship comprehensively covers all expenses related to Lakshmi's education. This includes full tuition fees, health insurance, international travel, visa expenses, and a monthly living allowance for the entire 24-month duration of the study programme, ensuring she can focus entirely on her studies without financial concerns.
